Summer Festival during middle of May
The summer festival has a 7 day setup of flower shows, dog shows, boating races and a fair. Crowds flock to Yercaud during this season and hang around evening when the fair is rolling until 1100 at night.The annual flower show is in May. Cardamom, pepper, orange are the main crops in Yercaud. Seasonal fruits are produced in plenty.
The Summer Festival is being celebrated in the second week of May of every year. Adiperukku Festival is Celebrated in Mettur every year in the month of August. Don't miss the flower shows, boating races, dog shows and the fair. (Tamil month Adi eighteenth day) Large number of tourists visiting Mettur and have a holy dip in the Kaveri River.
