Lady’s Seat in Yercaud
The Lady's Seat offers a splendid view of the Ghats and the thick growth of trees lined there. At nights, the lit up Salem looks ravishing. One of the most crowded and visited spots in Yercaud, Lady's seat located 2 Km south west of Yercaud town offers a panoramic view of the Ghats. It is best at night with the twinkling lights of Salem town in sight. A telescope is installed at this point for tourists to have a closer look at the plains below and the winding roads in between.
Lady's seat is name given to a cluster of rocks on the south west side of Yercaud. There is a steep drop of about 200 feet below from this point. One gets a panoramic view of distant Salem and the winding road up.
